Jennifer Robin Zimmerman
Jennifer R. Zimmerman is an experienced litigation attorney who has received favorable results for her clients in both criminal and civil matters. Her practice focuses on criminal defense work, complex civil litigation, and employment law, including representation of employers in wage and hour disputes. Ms. Zimmerman also represents clients in administrative proceedings related to civil and criminal matters, and in post-conviction proceedings, including appeals.
Criminal Defense
In addition to litigating criminal defense cases, Ms. Zimmerman has received numerous pre-trial dismissals for clients in criminal matters ranging from drinking and driving offenses to felony drug offenses. In addition, she has negotiated numerous favorable dispositions of criminal and including juvenile delinquency cases. Ms. Zimmerman has also successfully litigated criminal appeals.
Civil Litigation
Ms. Zimmerman has a similarly strong record representing clients in civil litigation. Ms. Zimmerman has negotiated favorable settlements of disputes both before and after the commencement of litigation and has successfully litigated a variety of matters in both civil and administrative proceedings.

Ms. Zimmerman was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. She received her B.A. in Political Science and French from Emory University, and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law. While at the University of Colorado School of Law, Ms. Zimmerman served as a member and editor for the University of Colorado Law Review and was a member of the Dean's list. In addition, in 2007, she was honored by the National Association of Women Lawyers as the outstanding law student from the University of Colorado as a result of her high academic achievement and promotion of issues and concerns of women in the legal profession.
Ms. Zimmerman is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder County Bar Association, the National Association of Women Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar. She currently resides in Boulder with her husband, and son. In her free time, Ms. Zimmerman enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
